Wendi Wright

Occupational Therapist

Wendi received a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics degree at the University of British Columbia Okanagan, prior to earning her Master’s of Occupational Therapy degree at the University of British Columbia. She has worked in private practice since obtaining her Occupational Therapy degree in 2015. She has gained extensive education and experience working with individuals with concussions/mild traumatic brain injuries, as well as those with musculoskeletal injuries, anxiety and depression. In addition to her work in the community, Wendi also provides Functional Capacity Evaluations and Cost of Future Care Assessments to clients with varying needs. She has been designated as an Expert Witness in the Supreme Court of British Columbia in the areas of Occupational Therapy, Functional Capacity Evaluations and Cost of Future Care Assessments. Wendi brings a mindful, trauma-sensitive, and acceptance-based approach to her practice, as she is passionate about providing a safe space in which clients can work towards their goals in recovery. Prior to becoming an Occupational Therapist, Wendi worked in the health and fitness industry as a personal trainer, motivating clients to be their healthiest selves physically, mentally and emotionally; she continues to bring this same approach to her practice as an Occupational Therapist.
