Isabelle Lee

Occupational Therapist

MSc OT, BSc Psych

Isabelle graduated from the Occupational Therapy program at McMaster University and has since enjoyed working with older adults in the community in Toronto, helping clients maintain mobility and thrive while living with cognitive impairment. She has further gained experience in palliative care, rural care, and mental health care using motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioural therapy, and mindfulness techniques. Isabelle is grateful for the opportunity to build on her skills with inpatients, outpatients and community clients at the Penticton Regional Hospital and South Okanagan General Hospital after receiving a warm welcome in these communities. Isabelle believes strongly in the importance of engaging in meaningful activity to promote living life to the fullest. She is passionate about social equity, recognizing the significant impact of intersecting oppressions such as gender, race, and socioeconomic status on health outcomes in modern Canada. She delights in the unique challenges that present themselves while helping each client to achieve their goals.

When not enabling engagement, Isabelle can be found rock climbing, playing her trumpet, or spending peaceful time in nature.
