Gregory Vaal

Gregory Vaal brings nearly 30 years of experience as a paramedic and ambulance dispatcher supporting individuals through challenging and stressful life circumstances. In addition to his role with Creative Therapy Consultants, he continues to work part-time in emergency services as a 911 dispatcher and Critical Incident Stress peer, drawing on his experience as a paramedic and dispatcher to support both the public and fellow first responders.

As a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC), Gregory combines his extensive frontline experience with a compassionate, person-centred, attachment-based approach to helping individuals navigate barriers, build resilience, and move toward their personal, vocational, and recovery goals. He understands that life changes, injuries, health concerns, and other challenges can significantly impact a person's confidence, routines, and sense of direction.

Gregory values creating a supportive and respectful environment where individuals feel heard, understood, and empowered to take meaningful steps forward. He is passionate about helping people identify strengths, develop practical strategies, and work toward greater independence and well-being.

Outside of work, Gregory enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, exploring British Columbia's backcountry, tackling home renovation projects, and heading into the mountains for outdoor adventures with his children.
