Emily Lowry
Occupational Therapist
MScOT, Reg. OT (BC)
Emily (she/her) is originally from Ontario and obtained her Masters of Occupational Therapy at Queen’s University in 2020. As a student, Emily supported children and youth in both hospital and community settings, providing a leisure-based outlet for children and families navigating challenging circumstances. Since becoming an Occupational Therapist, Emily has worked in the community with a focus on trauma, emotional and self-regulation, daily living skills, and community and social engagement. She is passionate about creating a safe therapeutic environment where progress can be made when the individual feels understood. Emily hopes to bring a relationship-based therapy approach that meets the needs of the client and family. She understands the importance of play and fun in a child’s life and will use this to help develop foundational skills for success and independence in daily activities. Outside of work, Emily loves to run, travel, camp, buy new plants, and test out new baking recipes!
