Claire DeWitt

Canadian Certified Counsellor

BSc KIN, MA, CCC

Claire is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with a Masters in Counselling Psychology. She specializes in work with teens and adults. Her approach balances warmth and encouragement with gentle challenges to provide opportunities for personal growth and change. Claire works on setting realistic goals and believes in providing clients with the foundations for effective habit building to follow through with strategies covered in session.


Claire is devoted to building a strong relationship with each client through empathy and unconditional positive regard. She uses a person-centred approach that tailors every session to each client’s unique needs. Claire uses evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavioural therapy and solution-focused therapy, to help clients achieve their therapeutic goals and improve their quality of life.


When she is not working or studying, Claire can be found biking, skiing, and spending time hiking with her dog Murphy.
