Cathryn Gale
Human Resources Advisor
Providing dedicated service in management, bookkeeping, payroll, marketing and customer care for more than 35 years, Cathryn (Cathy/Cat) has spent her life supporting small and large business teams in a variety of industries, including resources, hospitality, fitness, non-profit and health care. Cathy brought her diverse experience to the Creative Therapy Consultants team in 2003 – and she has been delighted to be involved with the growth of this innovative company ever since. After starting out as an Office Administrator performing a variety of jobs within the Operations Team, she moved into the post of Office Manager in 2006; and acquired the role as Human Resources Advisor in 2020. An enthusiastic member of this company's team of Workplace Wellness Champions, JHSC, Recruitment and Marketing, and Leadership Team, Cathy is passionate about helping Creative Rehabilitation Services Ltd. (CRS) – and its divisions of Creative Therapy Consultants and Kids Creative Therapy – make the most of their resources and talent, building teams which reinforce and empower each other's strengths and finding ways to improve processes and develop policies. As the CRS Operations Team leader, her wealth of knowledge and experience – in addition to her deep care for and appreciation of her team – lends to the mentorship and support she can provide. When Cathy is not working at her desk, she enjoys exploring and photographing the great outdoors, in addition to engaging in Pilates, creating artistic pieces, planning fun group events and spending time with her family and friends. Cudi, her Hound-Mountain Bernese, is also a member of the Creative Therapy team, bringing joy to all when he joins her in the office. Cathy enjoys the work she does, the people she interacts with and the difference she makes in the lives of clients and coworkers. Cathy's approach to her team and her work is reflected in one of her favourite quotes: "Train people well enough so they can leave. Treat them well enough so they don't want to." – Sir Richard Branson
