Amanda holds a psychology degree from the University of British Columbia and pursued her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto. Following her education, she returned to her hometown in Kelowna, British Columbia, to begin her career. Amanda has always been passionate about helping others in meaningful and creative ways and deeply identifies with the profession’s mission to promote personalized treatment, a focus on holistic psychological and physical well-being, social justice, and inclusion at the individual, community, and societal levels. She has experience in various healthcare settings, including short and long-term hospital, clinic, and community-based environments, spanning both physical and mental health contexts. Amanda is incredibly passionate about this field, aspiring to assist individuals in reaching their goals, fostering their ability to re-engage in their desired activities, and helping them lead lives that hold personal meaning.
