Home Modifications

The BC Rebate for Accessible Home Adaptations (RAHA) provides financial assistance/rebates to eligible low-income individuals to complete home adaptations for independent living.

As a homeowner or a tenant, individuals may be eligible for RAHA if they or someone in their
household has a permanent disability or loss of physical abilities and they meet the application
requirements.

Some of the home adaptations available through RAHA require an assessment from an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Physical Therapist (PT) and an OT or PT must complete the application.

Some examples of accessible modifications could include:
converting tubs to walk in showers, ramps, railings,
or relocating laundry machines.

Our company has many Occupational Therapists throughout British Columbia who would be happy to complete the RAHA assessment and application to facilitate safe and independent living.

The cost of the Occupational Therapy assessment is $250, which RAHA will reimburse once the application is approved.
