Our Kinesiologists must be a member in good standing with the BCAK (British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists); they work in hospitals, rehabilitation clinics, recreation centres/swimming pools, client homes and neighbourhoods.
Our Kinesiologists provide exercise therapy services to ICBC, WorkSafeBC, Interior Lumbermen’s Health and Welfare Plan, and Veterans Affairs, in addition to other third party insurance companies and private payers.
Our Occupational Therapy team members feel regular engagement in an active rehabilitation program directed by a registered Kinesiologist is one of the single most effective means to manage and improve symptoms, as well as to enhance recovery. A body of evidence suggests many benefits of exercise, including pain management, injury prevention, mood enhancement, and increased quality of life.
